Next come the Three B's Boots, Bag, Blade.

These three items are the holy trinity of survival, urban or rural.
Remember that these items really count so choose wisely. You'll get alot of opinions on which to select. I can name a couple to start you off but feel free to ask other members on our site as well as research for yourself.

Blades. The Gerber Prodigy my first knife I choose after alot of research. Got mine for $39.95 with they're famously nice sheaths. It was inf act a steal for the quality of metal in the blade and its design. great Midsized knife.

Looking for a machete? Coldsteel is a great place for good quality and good metal machetes you can beat around and really use at low low prices.

Some as low as $12 without sheath and 30 or less with sheath.
I recommend one with a belly not a straight edge and alittle weight to it. both help with making cutting easier. Either of these Kurkri models would be great but they have others to look at aswell.

Boots if you could have only one of these three then invest in nice boots. My one and only suggestion is 5.11 boots. My best experience is with their rather expensive XPRT Tactical Boot. Well worth it bought them over 1 1/2 years ago and still in very good shape.

Now the bag Some people like keep it simple with an army surplus bag. I myself tend to pay the higher prices for slightly nicer. (in my opinion) bag. Ether will work though. Just be sure it has nice padding for the back arm straps and waist strap. And organization, either through built in compartments or molle webbing to which you can attach pouches.
