My location: In the boonies in Illinois
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Anywhere, but I live in a small town in a small county. I am hopefully small population will be helpful.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? This house is not too reliable.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Back roads.
Got anyone I want to take with me? I have 2 kids, and my husband maybe useful.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? We have a few 5 mile 2 way radios. Most of my family has them, we got them after 9/11. And we all live within 5 miles of each other.
How am I planning to get food and water? We stay pretty stocked up in case of a disaster. We have a garden and we know how to live off the land. My husband is a naturalist.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? I want a real sharp machete. Like a United Cutlery UC8008 Colombian Saw back Machete. And maybe some sort of gun. But with kids in the house I don't allow anything more than cooking knives.
Got a survival philosophy? I don't think big groups is a good idea. Outbreaks will spread way to fast.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Only family and friends.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? A lot of plans put together. The rules from Zombieland are rules everyone should memorize.
