What started my zombie fixation: The whole survival.

My location: Florida.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Home town.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Staying home. Moving during Z-Day during the first couple of days of the panic, is a good chance you will be over run and killed! I don't care if your a Navy Seal or PedroAsani, when your facing down a group of 250 infected surrounding you in a circle, you will **** your pants.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? By foot. I am more quicker on foot. Plus I will be more agile when things begin to get hot.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Call me heartless, but they would slow me down. But I would try to escort people to safety, if they wish.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Hermit route.
How am I planning to get food and water? More then likely from raiding stores after a couple days of the panic. There should be a couple of things left lying around. I live in a tropical state and the city where I live a lot of folks have several types of fruit tree's growing in their yards.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? I don't care for firearms, and I believe many people on this site, will seek firearms as the only means of self defense when Z-day comes and will rely on them more then ever because it keeps them at a distance from being harmed. When they eventually run out of ammo, they will be terrified to get up close to a infected for a while. My weapon of choice would be a compound bow with field tips or a crossbow. I will carry a heavier melee weapons. Like a Grosse Messer(which I own) or something light like one of my custom machete's. I will also carry couple of knives on my like 4-5. Just in case a zed happens to get close to me and latches on to me, and I can't get loose.
Got a survival philosophy? Don't go trying to be a leader just to make your self feel important. Go with the flow. Let things die out.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Maybe for a short bit as an additional guard.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? My general knowledge, and the area I live in.
