It seems that, for most of my memorable lifetime, the end of the world was a fascination. Not in the aspect that most of these kids nowadays think. No, I indulged in the vast knowledge of libraries, the Internet, and so on. Learning was always a fascination, and one such topic, the end of the world, had so many different variations..

Anyway, part of my fascination, and for at least half of my life, I struggled to grasp the concepts that Christianity put forth. I'm not discussing my opinions on religion here, but it was a very... influential and detrimental thing in my life. Through some logic and my ever increasing desire to learn, I came to certain conclusions and well, the rest is much like anyone else's life. We all struggle.

I am an amateur artist, a gun enthusiast, a person who tends to speak his mind without regard for anyone's feelings, and pride myself with the fact that I USUALLY know something about a topic. I have a vast wealth of knowledge about all things AK47. Of course, I don't know everything.

I'll help with anything if I can. You can usually find me on the ZSDW IRC, and we encourage new members to come and chat. If you happen to walk in on some.. strange chatter.. its the internet. Its gonna happen.

Going back over it, WOW how stupid that was. Don't worry, all of us tend to not know jack at the beginning.

Right now, I am focusing on maintaining a bug-in perspective, and bugging out only in the event of serious danger. Hopefully, Small town USA will stay quiet.





SURVIVAL
I advise anyone to remain in their homes and remain undetected in any disaster or WROL/SHTF scenario, unless you live in a large city or you know that your area is going to be screwed.

Personally, I will be bugging in and staying in for as long as my supplies allow. When they get low, I will be forced to go hunting for some supplies. My hope however, is that the worst we have is civil unrest and the country shuts down for a couple weeks, max. If its the end of times.... Well, there are contingency plans in my head. Most of which end in my death. Meh. Gotta love those epic movie endings, don't ya?


My intellectual pursuits
I am studying various survival, combat, and other things necessary to survive.
I believe that Knowledge will be as important as the bullet or knife you use as well. In addition, I am both a great writer and poet(not that useful, but let me continue). I have been studying organizational structure in an attempt to designate a proper system of order to use post-apocalypse. The trouble is, as you can see by today's standards, no government system really works. Oh well.

I have been considering a career in Information Technology/Systems.
