"One of my liberal neighbors once asked me if I had stuff stockpiled when the world was supposed to stop in Y2K and that she had all kinds of stuff stored up. I told her "No, I have a gun and I know where you live." "

"Captialism caters to the upper 1% of society. And they said Communism was evil. Capitalism just goes longer unnoticed"
-SovietPrince

"Nature is what we know. We do not know the gods of religions. And nature is not kind, or merciful, or loving. If God made me — the fabled God of the three qualities of which I spoke: mercy, kindness, love — He also made the fish I catch and eat. And where do His mercy, kindness, and love for that fish come in? No; nature made us — nature did it all — not the gods of the religions"

About Me:
It seems that, for most of my memorable lifetime, the end of the world was a fascination. Not in the aspect that most of these kids nowadays think. No, I indulged in the vast knowledge of libraries, the Internet, and so on. Learning was always a fascination, and one such topic, the end of the world, had so many different variations..
I can't remember exactly how I found this site, but I've been on it for what seems like forever. There have been times where I've ignored it, flamed on it, gotten flamed on it, and so on. Nobody's perfect. But I'm more perfect than the children that join and don't know what a real molotov is.

On a happier note:
I'll help with anything if I can. You can usually find me on the ZSDW IRC, and we encourage new members to come and chat. If you happen to walk in on some.. strange chatter.. its the internet. Its gonna happen.

Note I am already covered on .22's, pistols, rifles, and shotguns. So i have no niche that hasn't been filled. Except .22 pistol... I'm fixing that soon with a glock upper conversion kit.

SURVIVAL
I advise anyone to remain in their homes and remain undetected in any disaster or WROL/SHTF scenario, unless you live in a large city or you know that your area is going to be screwed.

I will be double checking the locks, securing windows, and loading magazines. Bugging in is my initial attitude for anything. If I must leave, I can, and would, but that's only if common sense kicks in. I'm one of those "hold the line" type of people.

Due to the 1/8 inch thick steel blade on my heavy duty shears breaking(yeah, it literally broke off) I've taken the liberty of drafting up ideas for the junk. This time however, I'll be purchasing some tougher parts, such as an iron or steel pipe for the handle/shaft.

I already have the idea to do this for my axe as well,

but besides the point, this time, i think i might make a warhammer of sorts. But I'm open to any ideas. I'll try to find a picture of the shears later.

wow quite the industrial guy aren't you. Cool weapons, very creative. Only thing i can think to add for your consideration, is that when the time comes and your old enough to buy fire arms, get something in an 30-06 or .308 instead of the 7.62x54r.I know that surplus Nagant's are cheap themselves but the ammo in certain regions can be difficult to come by. And when the SHTF you'll want something they'll have at every gun store or wal-mart. Anyway, keep up the good work.
