What started my zombie fixation: Nazi Zombies on Call of Duty. It got my adrenaline pumping and it just felt amazing
Favorite zombie book: Sadly never read one yet. That will change soon.
Favorite zombie movie: Dawn of the Dead or Zombieland. Both are contrasting each other but I still love them both. Dawn of the Dead had a more serious approach to the apocalypse while Zombieland just had something to do with zombies yet made me laugh.
Favorite quote in any zombie movie: Time to nut up or shut up. Nothing really to do with zombies but it gave me a chuckle.

My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: I am going to guess that handle means something like a current situation so I am going to say if any of you have Facebook just add me. My name is Tad Bartels. During the apocalypse assuming the internet is still up I will be posting regularly.
My location: Rural Eastern Iowa
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?: My plan basically depends on my area within a hundred mile radius. I plan on riding it out in a very small town near my house with a group of friends for a long time and if society hasn't somewhat returned in around a year or so I will eventually try to make my way up into the Canadian wilderness.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?: I will stay in my home for the first few days or so but when I get an update that it is safe to move I will move out to a town near me as fast as possible
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? : Since I am 15 I have a school permit so I can drive myself back and forth to school alone and I am hoping I am capable or taking my truck 15 miles to this town I will be going to.
Got anyone I want to take with me? : I have a group of around 12 people in all that I hope to take into this town to ride out the apocalypse with. 9 of them already live in the town I am going to and I'm hoping it works out somewhat as I plan.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? : I will update my Facebook and at some point be broadcasting on AM radio. I will also willingly take in survivors as long as they don't come off as a threat.
How am I planning to get food and water?: In this town there is many houses that hopefully have a little bit of food and water in them and there is also a school, small grocery store, and a gas station so if my 9 friends that already live there could stock up as fast as possible that'd be great.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? : I prefer my Benelli Supernova 12 Gauge Shotgun. I do have to reload it and it can hold five shells at a time. Since there isn't really a place near me where I can find a sniper or fancy pistols or anything I am just going to make do with what I have. I will keep my favorite shotgun with me at all times but I will take all the guns I have to the town I'll be staying in.
Got a survival philosophy? : Just stay alert and do whatever you need to do to keep yourself and others alive. Basically save yourself now and worry about your actions later...
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? : As long as they don't come off as a threat I will take them in but if I suspect they are plotting against my original group I will not hesitate to get rid of them by any means necessary.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?: Not that I know of. I'm sure someone has thought of this before but if they have I definitely didn't mean to steal their idea.
