This is me partially suited up for battle. Katana, Check. Wakizashi, Check. Pistol, Check. Throwing knife, Check. This pic, however, is missing my MOLLE vest, my climbing harness, my FNP-9mm, my Walther P22, Helmet/mask, and my B.O.B. Otherwise, I'm ready for anything. Yes, the trenchcoat is a controversial article of clothing but I choose to wear it. It's comfortable and it gives me a sense of security, even if it's a fake one. Say what you will, I like it. I have so many weapons though, the gear I am wearing could change at any time. I suppose I'll have to try some out when it happens. Trial and error. I am pretty new to this. This being wanting to be a survivor in a zombie outbreak kind of thing. However, if you looked at my house you would think I have been preparing for years. My hobbies happen to include being obsessed with Katana's, Taekwondo, Boxing, Pistol shooting, camping, being prepared for anything, and loads of other hobbies that directly make me a great candidate for surviving. You can't be too prepared but I'm confident I can save my family, close friends, and myself. I am 5ft 11in and weigh about 170lbs. I am under 8%bf and have taken at least one form of martial art since I was 13. I am highly experienced with Katana's. I have an unhealthy obsession with them and would grab my Mushashi Tiger/Dragon or Cheness Kaze Ko Katana before I would pull my Walther P22's or my FNP-9. Which is why a Zombie outbreak is the perfect fit for me. You don't have to rely on guns. Melee weapons could end up proving to be more useful. I'm a huge fan of melee weapons and there aren't many situations where you get to use them these days. I also have an SUV (Toyota Sequoia) that gets decent gas mileage, a racecar (94 Toyota MR2), generator, a variety of other weapons including more pistols, rifles, axes, and swords... Many many swords. I don't think of myself as taking my unit to the promise land if an outbreak were to occur. I don't think that I am the greatest leader. I think I can and will survive and will be a great asset to my group. My Survival Plan: My plan is largely centered around being stealthy, having all the equipment I need on me at all times, and long term surviving. One thing you'll read in my plan is the fact that I won't be carrying an automatic rifle around with me. I am going to be conserving any ammunition I can, within reason, and using melee weapons. I've spent the last decade of my life training with swords and knives, why not use those skills if I am able to. I can train non stop, at 100% in the dojo for an hour and a half 5 days a week, before which I train with weights for another 1.5 hours. I am confident in my abilities. I do have a stock pile of ammunition but I am going to try to conserve that for my family. My locatio Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? We are going to have to get our supplies together, then head for my family, and then my fiance's. They both live in different parts of the country. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? CB How am I planning to get food and water? I have a stock pile of Tuna and water right now as well as other variations of canned goods. I also have a supply of supplements. NO2, Creatine, Protein and weight gainer powder, Amino acids, etc... I will be looting for additional items though. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes, Doctors, Engineers, Police/Military, and those who have skills we need. Here is my B.O.B. The picture needs updated though, this was as of a month ago. Since this pic was taken I bought another handgun, a few Katana's, as well as a new climbing harness. It's not close to being complete but I am adding to it all the time. However, I am starting on a new project. Have my B.O.B. for 3 days as it should be in an Internal Frame pack. However, I bought a 1 day B.O.B. that is essentially a side/hip pack that includes a smaller version of everything in my big one. A first aid tin, gloves, magazine, knives, goggles, NO2, Protein Powder and Bars, water, markers/pens and paper. It's still in the works but it's starting to come together. Here is a picture of some of my swords. Nothing too special in this picture. My Cannon Rebel is with my brother right now and I have to take pics with my phone which is why I'm not that motivated to update it quite yet. I will though, probably later this week. Click Here to view a page I created for reviewing weapons that we own. So far I've reviewed a few Katana's and a Wakizashi. I will soon review my pistol and another few swords I've ordered. Please help me. I have limited funds and can only buy so many weapons so I'll have to rely on other users to build that part of the site up. I appreciate any reviews. _________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________ ___________________________________________ ________________________________ ____________________
