What started my zombie fixation: i am not sure but ive been going on about it for years

My Survival Plan:

My location: Jacksonville Florida

Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? anywhere with a large body of water, preferably coastal

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? i will be heading for the coast to secure a large ship, a cruise ship preferably, and i will anchor it offshore, teams of survivors will be sent out to secure supplies and weapons, we will travel up and down the coast as we prepare for our voyage to Lanai, Hawaii. the island is small with a population of about 3000. it will be quite easy to exterminate the infected population there and since its secluded and i doubt zombies can swim 10 miles it should be quite safe, after that i will set up a colony with my survivors, planting crops and raising livestock,if you can somehow make it by plane or boat you are more then welcome to join, being a volcanic island it should be quite fertile and could support many people,considering we would be on our own, id say about half the existing population, about 1500, a sizeable chunk of the wiki


If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? by means of large automobile, pickup truck, semi, hijacked humvee from national guard base south of me....

Got anyone I want to take with me? i really hope i can take my girlfriend/family with me, but if i cant i will not risk the lives of my party to attempt the rescue of someone im not even sure is alive

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? cellphones will mostlikely cease working by the first few weeks of the zombie outbreak so the best i can probablly do is shortwave radio

How am I planning to get food and water? i will stop by local shops with my truck convoy, and clean them out, the larger places such as costco, walmart and the large grocery stores will be quickly looted or overrun so i will hit all the corner stores, biglots, local resturants

What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? M16A2, katana/ long sword, or machete if i cant get to my swords (good to have a sidearm with a long reach)

Got a survival philosophy? IF YOU GET BITTEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO OFF YOURSELF OR GO ON A SUICIDE MISSION, I WOULD DO IT I EXPECT YOU TO

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? yes, i will take on whoever i can, unless they are too large of a burden(handicapped, elderly, bitten) , then i will hand them a 9mm with a single bullet and leave the room as an act of mercy

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? no this is my own plan i have created with years of planning
