Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? My plan depends primarily on God's will.No other people involved as of today.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? That depends on what happens.Probably heading somewhere else.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? There are a few options.I will eventually end up deep in the woods walking probably.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My terrier.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I will probably go the hermit route.
How am I planning to get food and water? I have food and water,but in a WSHF scenario:I know water sources(who knows what will be contaminated?!) and concentrate more on purification than stockpiling.I will always have an eye open for prey (while doing various other things).I will perpetually hunt,fish,and scavenge.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? My sidearm will always be on me..357.It is also a close range hunter.With scatter-shot:it is a short-range shotgun.It is a pry-bar.It is a zombie blaster.I have several other firearms/weapons for engagements.I will be self-contained.If I cant carry it and use it in more than one way:I DON'T WANT IT!!! I do not put my faith in any of my firearms paticularly;though I am proficient with all of them.Ammo is heavy and will run out one day.I favor a sidearm and bow.The big guns are just for the heat of the Zombie uprising(In which case I am still very comfortable with my sidearm,knife,and bow).I have never favored the big,loud guns.I don't like animals(or Zombies) to be alerted of my presence too much when I'm gathering food.Big guns look scary;but you can harvest almost anything in the woods with a .22 LR or a pellet rifle,honestly.
Got a survival philosophy? Be able to purify water! Less is more.Forget comfort.Learn to use things that require sharpening rather than reloading.Being still IS camoflauge.Optics are paramount.Practice pointing your finger and it will make you better at everything else.Use the time to encode the Word in your heart and try to live by it.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? If they are good people.
