About Me: When I started thinking way too much about zombies: you can't ever think too much about anything. But I started thinking about zombies when I was 7. What started my zombie fixation: Night of the Living Dead Favorite zombie book: the Autumn series by David Moody Favorite zombie movie: Shaun of the Dead Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "Not to shit on anyone's riff here, but let me just see if I grasp this concept, ok? You're suggesting that we take some fucking parking shuttles, and reinforce them with some aluminum siding, and then just head on over to the gun store and watch our good friend Andy play some cowboy movie jump-on-the-covered-wagon bullshit. Then, we're gonna drive across a ruined city, through a welcome committee of a few hundred thousand dead cannibals, all so that we can sail off into the sunset on this fucking asshole's boat?" -- CJ, Dawn of the Dead 2004 My Survival Plan: My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: I don't think I'd have the time to use the internet, what with trying to stay alive and all. My location: With luch, 15 to 20 miles out of a small town with a sams club. Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? At the moment it's dependant on my home town, but I'm currently working on a plan for anywhere. Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? I'm definately going to keep moving around, after all, there is no safe, only safer. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? I plan on stealing sturdy vehicles with the best results in crash tests, the last thing I want is to die in a car crash during a war between the living and dead. Got anyone I want to take with me? any survivor. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I doubt communicating with the outside world will be as easy as this survey makes it out to be, but I will definately try to communicate with the outside world as often as I can. How am I planning to get food and water? lots and lots of preparing. and hence the plan of staying close to a warehouse with non perishables. What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? a crowbar. it has enough weight do some serious damage but is light enough to be carried in hand, it has a hook on one side and a flat, possibly sharp edge on the other. it doesn't need re-loading, and if the length is right, it still keeps me 2 arms lengths away from the assailant. Got a survival philosophy? humans are capable of anything, we just need to get over our differences and work together. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? I'll pick up any survivors along the way, but they'll have to help the group by taking a watch shift, helping with getting food and water, and helping clean out a new home. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? my plan is based on books, movies, and mine and my boyfriend's own thoughts and opinions.
