About Me:
Honestly, I used to always be afraid of Zombies. The whole idea of something that is no more coming out of the ground and walking around pretty much freaked me out. Add on top of that the fact that they view me as Prime Choice Meat and look like meaty swiss cheese doesn't exactly paint a pretty picture. I knew the movies had it wrong, but I never ruled out the possibility of the unknown.

That's when I met Sean, my husband, who is an avid gamer and TOTAL zombie lover. Not in the "I wanna make out" kinda love but the "I wanna bash your brains in" kind. LoL He always talked about Z day, asking me what I would do if they came. My answer was always, get eaten more than likely. I was then introduced the wonderful world of L4D/L4D2 and quickly realized that the reanimated aren't quite as scary as I had thought they were. In fact, there is something quite satisfying about introducing a Zombies face to end of a shotgun barrel.

So I started getting into Sean's ZDay planning, going through scenarios in our head while we drive down the road or hang out late at night. As a Christmas present I gave Sean his first Zombie killing weapon, a fully functional Katana, as well as the Zombie Survival Guide book. The real Zombie attacks listed in that book brought the idea home....Zombies are a real possibility, though not exactly what the media has portrayed. Diseases can cross species, and stranger things have been found in the world, so why not plan for what could be. And if nothing else, I'll be really set for just about anything else the world will throw at me!

I'm in the process of making a custom Zombie Survival Kit, as well as a personalized guidebook. I'll make sure to share lots of photos as I'm building it, and will be joining lots of threads to get more ideas as to what to throw in there. Can't wait to meet everybody and learn more about their Zday planning. :)

About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: I blame my husband...
What started my zombie fixation: Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2
Favorite zombie book: Zombie Survival Guide.
Favorite zombie movie: ZombieLand
Favorite quote in any zombie movie: brains.....

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: ValNTine
My location: Resaca, GA
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Depends on the size of the outbreak and location.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Fortified truck being built...hehehe
Got anyone I want to take with me? Husband and trying to pick up family along the way
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I wonder if anybody could understand smoke signals these days.... LoL
How am I planning to get food and water? Already stocking up!
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Building up the arsenal as well. Shotgun with clip is my choice, and I'm learning how to use the Shaolin Monk Spade.
Got a survival philosophy?
1. Never open the door when people say they're being chased by Zombies and want in.
2. Full cavity search for bite marks for any new comers.
3. When in doubt, shoot.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes, but must be willing and able to carry a weapon. If you're not willing to shoot then you're just zombie bait.
