Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? If SHTF in DC, Everyone is screwed.

Got anyone I want to take with me? Immediate family and one or two family friends.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?I hope to get a CB radio, otherwise it's just two-ways for the group. I have a police scanner, that should help avoid some places.
How am I planning to get food and water?Scrounge. Nearest place is about a mile, I can cut through the forest and get there in 3/4 mile.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?I own a .22 semi-auto Browining, 11 round capacity, tube fed, 12 if 1 in chamber. Have a 6 round, .357 Highway Patrolman Revolver. Have a 20 gauge Mossberg 500. I have 700+rounds of .22, 50 wadcutters, 10 hollowpoints, and 50 ball ammo for .357, 25 #8 23/4in. shells for 20 gauge
