When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Something like 5 or 6 years ago.

What started my zombie fixation: Hard to say exactly. I just happened to catch a zombie movie on tv one day and it made me want to watch more of them. The more I watched them, the more I wanted to dive deeper into zombies as a subject. I heard about the Zombie Survival Guide sometime after that and just hearing about the book got me interested in zombie survival, as well as preparedness in general. I've been reading about it on various forums ever since. Ironically, the book itself was ultimately kind of a letdown for me when I actually got a copy and read it.
