What started my zombie fixation: When I was seven, I lived a block away from one of the largest cemeteries in the US in addition to watching zombie flicks.
Favorite zombie book: My only zombie book so far, The Zombie Survival Guide. I use it as a guideline, not the Bible.

Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? I have plans for both scenarios.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Ultimately, heading out. In the initial phases, might have to stay in.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? If the roads are passable, by car. If not, which is more likely, by bicycle or foot. I'm not heading so far that a day or two by bike isn't feasible.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My wife, mother in law, and her best friend who is a deputy. My wife is very resourceful and her mom used to be in law enforcement.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? There will be communication. How is still to be determined. We might have to form alliances with other local colonies for supplies, intel, etc.
How am I planning to get food and water? I'm in Florida, so I will be using a distillery to boil off seawater and catch the steam. Food will be by fishing and hunting wild pigs. Gardens will be planted and there are plenty of citrus trees where I'm heading.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Unfortunately, I have no weapon on hand. My MIL's friend lives within walking distance (I can literally run there in under three minutes) so I'm sure she would help us out.
Got a survival philosophy? Be very flexible.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? It depends. If they can contribute, there is room. As long as there aren't too many.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not that I'm aware of.
