What started my zombie fixation: As a kid. I guess from being in boyscouts at the same time that a friend lent me his copy of Resident Evil 2. :p
Favorite Zombie movie: Dawn of the Dead.
My Survival Plan: Low-profile perseverence. Stick to the outskirts of civilization(undead or otherwise). Geocache non-perishable foods and gear. My raiding strategy would consist of careful scouting and distratction, rather than all-out-war with the undead. I'd keep a party no larger than 10.
My ideal fortress: Would be a compound somewhere in a rural area. Close enough to scavenge for supplies. Something like an abandoned mine where there is equipment, easy access, living quarters, and underground access. If tractors were available, I would dig a perimeter trench and spike pits.
Arsenal: The most lethal weapon anybody can have is their brain. As far as firearms, that would consist primarily of rifles. Bolt-action hunting and mil-surp rifles, along with an AK or a high-accuracy .308 like a G3 clone or AR. Personally, I don't like the idea of handguns and melee weapons. You shouldn't put yourself in a position where you need one. A crowbar or machete would be an essential tool. If I had to carry a handgun, it would be a magnum revolver in .357 with a 4" or 6" barrel. Shotguns with buckshot are indispensible for hunting and zombie defense within 50 yards.
My score and score summary on the non-lame zombie survival test:
Zombie Master. You scored 69% survivability and 65% kickass-ability!
