So many do not plan on staying in there house, well i do.
I will explain my entire fortification setup.

Okay to start, My house is posistioned high on the terrace of a cliff, theres a cliff in front and a cliff behing and theres no way up the sides. All i am faced with is a single entrance point, the driveway. We had a large probley with deers and my dog running away from teh house. So we installed a grated hole about 4 feet deep by 5 yards wide that spans the driveway, this is then covered by a plastic grate that allows cars and humans to walk over. Well this is removable I have done it before. This already cuts off my driveway pretty well. Around my house is a large stonewall (about 5 feet high) If somehow zombies found a way up the cliff they would have to face this and to alert me i will set up tin cans on a wire (simple but pretty efficient) .

So hopefully you got an idea of my houses layout. Now that i covered the basics, So your probley thinking a stone wall and a 4 foot hole won't stop any large amount of zombies. Yes i realize this, So there are three entrences to my house, The patio door ( we have a large rasied screen pation ( to high for zombies to get get up to) this is entered by a large wooden stair case and then the patio has direct enternece to my house. These steps could easily be broken by a sledge hammer or simpily sawn off. The next enterence is the side door. This has a raised stone enternce onto a small patio (hard to really explain) it is about 6 feet above the ground. I have a large supply of Bricks and square cut stones(we do alot of home projects) My is to fill in the stairs. Just statck the stones up and fill the stairs in. I have well over enough to do this. My front door is actually pretty easy. It to is raised off the ground about 3 feet off the ground. With 4 stone steps, the fill
