What started my zombie fixation: Most likely, as I've seen articles put it, the instinct for morally accepted violence and the deep seated need to be a survivor.
Favorite zombie book: World War Z, or Zombie Surival Guide, by Max Brooks. Finished the Zombie Combat Manual by Roger Ma. Good read, especially for melee. I have a few on the way from Amazon, though.
Favorite zombie movie: Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland, 28 Days Later, Resident Evils, Army of Darkness, All George A. Romero.

My location: Maryland, not by choice.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Not entirely, but I prefer zombies over most other emergencies.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Probably holing up at home, but I'm open to better suggestions.

Got anyone I want to take with me? Wife, son, 2 awesome mutts. Brother-in-law if he's nice.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Computer, if any networks still exist...Working on getting a CB.
How am I planning to get food and water? Currently stockpiling...
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Small round (~5.56) rifle for distance, light mace-like thing for melee. Heavier rifles for hunting/raiders.
Got a survival philosophy? Keep a helluva low profile.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Maybe...I've lost a lot of faith in my fellow man; Too many take advantage of compassion and see kindness as weakness.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Max Brooks, Roger Ma, CDC, ZSDW, and conversations with wife/close friends.
