Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? My plan depends on me BEING in my home town, but I will come back to my town as soon as possible if I am somewhere else when TSHTF
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? I am headed to the Spectra energy pipeline shop. Its an easily defended building, flat roof, generators, welding and other equipment, and its familiar to both me and my family.. The only problem is that it could be a ***** to clear out the office section of the building.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? My father has a company owned truck with snow plow. I plan to drive there, as I am in a fairly rural area, and not too many people will use the back roads.
Got anyone I want to take with me? I have a group of 14, including my mom and dad. 3 people in my group know how to operate everything inside the shop
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? The shop does have a radio, with its own battery. Since I do have a generator, and my father knows the location of quite a few solar panels in the bush, as well as how to properly install them, I will probably be on the internet for as long as it has.
How am I planning to get food and water? Most people in my group can hunt, and 2 can do so with bow and arrow. We all know good streams, several in fact, so we are good for water.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Baseball bat. I am not the best shot with a gun, so I decided to use something I can rely on. The one I have has the end taken off
Got a survival philosophy? Never, EVER, let your guard down
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Of course. The shop is big enough to hold a TON of people, but after we reach 300+, my group might decide to stop any incoming traffic.
