Slogan: "Live life well, and never, ever give up on what is important, such as life, love, and the people around you."
Friends: 2
Compliments: None

About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Hmm, nothing really, I'm just too paranoid to not be careful about anything.
What started my zombie fixation: The thought of zombies got me scared that I wasn't ready. Paranoia is not a bad thing.
Favorite zombie book: Creatures of the Night (My book)
Favorite zombie movie: Quarantine I and II
Favorite quote in any zombie movie:"If all of us work together, we can survive longer!" - Night of the Living Dead

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: akjhurg.webs.com, akjhurg@yahoo.com, akjhurg@aim.com
My location: Denver, Colorado
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Anywhere
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Somewhere else
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Travel by day, keep protected at night. That's all you need to know to find me.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My closest friends, Alex, Matt, Kevin, Robyn.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I'll be using the cell phone lines, as well as some radio, if I can get my hands on it. If all of that is severed, I'll use walkies to talk to my companions
How am I planning to get food and water? rivers and streams for water (If the stream's near any zombie holes, I'll get some bottled water from the stores.), stores along the way for food
What’s my weapon of choice?Katana Sword Do you need to reload that thing? Nope. Gotta plan for that? Yeah, I do, why do you care?
Got a survival philosophy? Every man for himself, but teamwork is for the mutual benefit. If you can't do your work, you're zombie-chow.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes, anyone else is good for help, but if you get bit, bye bye.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? No, not really. You could say I'm very unorthodox with my plans.

My score and score summary on the non-lame zombie survival test: None, don't care for fake crap like that.
Other Place to find me (If it's still running, of course.

This is my equipment list, starting with my weapons.

2 45. Colt Pistols - Would be strapped to my hips in holsters and extra magazines in the lower portion.

1 JUDGE shotgun/pistol - Strapped to my back, just above the tailbone. Set on my left side for easy access in battle.

1 22mm pistol - Held in a holster that also holds my main weapons on the back, strapped to my chest in a holster with extra ammo.

1 44. rifle with scope - Slung over my shoulder and hanging from my back. Extra magazines are loaded in my fanny pack.

1 M4 Carbine - Also slung over my shoulder, set with the barrel facing downward, so as to easily reach and pull it up.

Katana Sword - My melee weapon, in a scabbard on my belt, easily reached when needed.

2 6 in. daggers - Held in small sheathes on my shoulder blades. Just reach up and grab them.

My group would start out small, with me and my closest friends meeting up.
Alex (My closest friend, and the one who helped me join this site, also an excellent shot)
Hayden (Good friend of mine, he's a moderately good shot, but might still be in shock from the zombie attack)
Me (I don't brag, so I'm going to say I shoot well, and I can carry out orders to almost any degree)
Kevin (A slow mover, but still worth keeping around due to his constant good mood and morale boost just by being there.)

So far that's all I have. If you're interested in joining up with us, look in my other thread, it's got our plan for a base in it. If you live in Colorado, in the Littleton and Denver area, we may be able to find you and you can join us.

akjhurg My full survival plan (Updated as necessary) 3 Jul 9 2009, 2:49 PM EDT by akjhurg

On the day of zombie outbreak, as everyone knows, the police and SWAT teams will be oblivious for the first several hours, thinking they're just vandals or assaulters. But when it goes everywhere, then they'll mobilize within three or two hours.

I'll be ready on first sight of a zombie, my friends and I practice all the time for scenarios like this.
My gear is in my garage, first I'll grab that and put it on, then start packing up the other essentials. (5 minute time limit, 3 if Stage 2 outbreak)
Then, I'm going to head out, keeping to the less-populated areas and cover. My friends and I have a rendezvous point a mile away from my house, that's my main objective. If the zombies are already infesting the area, we have two back-up meeting spots for all of us that we know about, then it branches to two more that only three of us know about. When, and if, we are able to meet, we're going to find a defensible location and bunker down there. Two of us are the sentries, the rest are either going to work on fixing up the walls, sleep, or play cards. Two of us, me and my other friend, are going to be making plans for moving on as quickly and efficiently as possible. In the event of a zombie attack, we're all going to fight, using our respective survival weapon(s). As long as nobody is wounded, we're going to move out the next morning. Keeping close together, we're going to head for the closest building with all we need, a mall. From there, we're going to build walls and guard the entrances/cover them up. When we have a defensible spot with food, water, gear, bullets, and other weapons, we're going to bunker down there. As soon as the zombies manage to get in, we're going to clear one of the walls and escape that way. A grenade would be nice there, blow down a whole store on their heads.
From there, we're going to keep moving, taking refuge in smaller homes along the way.
