About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Before they were cool. Haha. Really though, I got into zombies right before the huge media boom.
What started my zombie fixation:I used to go to a fantastically sh*tty school, and I spent a lot of time thinking about what could make my life more interesting. A zombie outbreak seemed like a great thing at the time.
Favorite zombie book:I have to go with Brooks. He is my zombie Beatles.
Favorite zombie movie: Zombieland. Jessie Eisenhower & Woody Harrelson FTW!
Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "(sobbing) I haven't cried like that since Titanic... (wipes tears with stack of $100 bills)"

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web:On the web, I'm ben360. Post Z-Day, my call sign will be 'phones'.
My location:Upstate New York.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in my home town?I have a multitude of plans, all tailored for different outbreak levels. I'm prepared for anything.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?See above.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? My friend's semi pre-loaded with 200 gallons of gas. Bicycles in the back for when it runs out or we hit a roadblock.
Got anyone I want to take with me?A few good friends. If it's a large scale, nation-f*cking type of outbreak, we'll take on useful recruits.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? We won't be doing much communicating.
How am I planning to get food and water?Stockpiles. Way ahead.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? M1911A1 pistol. You can have your 4th gen Glock, that's cool. My gun has been around for a hundred years and it's only needed one update.
Got a survival philosophy?Think about every possible thing that could go wrong, and plan for it. Never, NEVER say to yourself, 'But that will never happen'. Those thing that will never happen and you didn't plan for will stack up. It's best to build your entire plan like this, thinking 'what could happen?' and then coming up with solutions. Like many things (playing an instrument, for example), your plan is never 'complete'. There's alway another challenge around the corner. In this way, a solid survival plan is like sheets of music. Z-Day is your first gig. Make sure to fit some practice sessions in.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? We may pick up strays, but the entire group won't exceed ten people.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not in particular. My set of plans is the result of literally years of research. Some sources I recommend are: This site (truly outstanding), The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, The SAS Handbook by John Wiseman, and the Army Field Manual FM 21-76, which is basically the bible for anyone who wants to survive in a hostile environment.
