Rekilling most zombies within a, oh say half mile radius, but irradiating more several milles out and contaminating the area for decades to come. Yeah you get some zombies, but in the end, I think it's more trouble than it's worth...still though, the thought of iridescent zombies shambling around at night would make some bloody good targets.
