About Me: When I started thinking way too much about zombies: when i heared about the existence of the Guide (People actually think about this! i am not crazy! *insert insane cackling*) What started my zombie fixation: The Zombie survival guide. Favorite zombie book: The Monster trilogy (Monster island, nation and planet.) Favorite zombie movie: Zombieland! Favorite quote in any zombie movie:Nut up or shut up. My Survival Plan: My “handle” should you look for me on the radio waves or web: bionicghost My location: Mexico, D.F. Is my plan dependent on zombies in my home town, or anywhere? If Z-day begins in Mexico or nearby, i bug in until the panic has passed/my supplies end/i am forced out. If it begins somewhere else, and it goes to level 2, i bug out to a little nook of the world. Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Stay on 2-3rd floor until there's only enough supplies for 2 days (already in the BOB), or until i am forced out (natural, mechanical or zack disaster) Also depends on the outbreak level. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Trajinera,mountain bike. After clearing the city (and carjam), i may try to find a suitable vehicle. Got anyone I want to take with me? Close family, 3-9 other survivors. If on a larger group (convoy) we'll "split" in sub-groups How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Cell phone (until batteries run down [unless i find a way to recharge]) 2 way radio. (If level 4, just listen) How am I planning to get food and water? Rivers (when far away from cities) and basic destilation, gathering and hunting. Once settled in my fortress, agriculture and domesticated animals (that eat stuff i regularly don't eat [grass?]) What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Hand to hand: Katana and wakisashi. Maybe tonfas. Rifle: Kel-tec SU16B Handgun: Glock Got a survival philosophy? Only kill that which you are going to eat... or that which is trying to eat/kill you. Have a backup plan for your backup plan's backup plan. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes, if they know how to survive, and are willing to hook up with me. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? The guide, this awesome wiki, Zombieland (just the rules.) This is the BOB i'll use on my shoulders, if i have access to a vehicle i'll be able to "put some more junk in the trunk"
