Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? No.

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?I'll probably be roaming.

If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?Whatever means I can find.

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?Doesn't matter if I communicate or not.

How am I planning to get food and water?If i can find a good place to set up defenses, I'd grow a garden. As for water, where i live there are plenty of rivers, streams, lakes, etc. I'd go and get water, bring it back and boil it. Drinkable and safe.

What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?I would prefer something that doesn't burn through ammo a lot. I only have a shotgun and a .22 caliber rifle. Some experience, but I'm no expert. So most likely, I'd be going with machetes, crowbars, stuff like that.

Got a survival philosophy?Just keep your head up. Don't be an idiot. Good way to end up a damn zombie.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?I would prefer to be able to be in a group. More chance of survival if there's more people helping each other.

I'm currently enlisted in the United States Army. I leave for boot camp in March, 2012. I'm hoping that by the time the apocalypse rolls around, I will be more prepared than I am now. As of right now, I have little experience with guns. The experience I do have is from hunting in the woods of Upper Michigan. I do have some experience in survival, as I go camping a lot. And I don't camp like most other people. I camp with a sleeping bag and a campfire. Other people camp with a pimped out camper.
