I think this is a good first draft of a plan, but there are a few things I think need improvement
1) How long is this cafeterias food going to last. If you can somehow get electricity for the fridge, or create an actual icebox, it might stay good for a few weeks, but what is your plan after it spoils
2) Desk legs - MUCH more effective as bludgeons, and easier to use without injuring yourself
3) Since assuming makes an ass out of U and me( Cell joke) What weapons can you use from the safety of your fortress, other than the ones used by your brave volunteers, in case none of them have access to weapons. even rocks to throw is better than nothing.
4) There is a certain way to barricade that increases the strength of the barricade greatly. Cannot remember off the top of my head, but look it up.
5) is such an odd symbol needed?

um, in order: 1) the food already there will only last all of us a week or two, true. but my school has a small greenhouse, i just learned not four days ago, but that wont last us too long either. sense it's an inner city school, we have a wal mart just down the road, so we'll be some of the first to raid it. 2)true also. the makeshift blades part was just for fun. we gotta occupy our minds with something. and our library may only last some of the group an few months. 3)we've planned for that too. there is an internal courtyard type area with plenty of rocks and a few trees. i'll see if anyone of us knows how to fletch an arrow from scratch. 4)i dont think i know it, if a few searches come up emptyhanded: we've still got the 2nd and 3rd floors to fall back to. 5)i see what your saying but if it were a simple geometric shape it may be taken as another person's/group's tag. so i took something that a large enough population (around here at least) knows its relation to safety or a friend.
