Hey, I think you're super!1

Just using the template because I can.
About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: A couple years back. They've always intrigued me as a genre.
What started my zombie fixation: Zombie films, of course. Followed swiftly by written fiction!
Favorite zombie book: While not strictly about zombies, Monster Hunter International (and Vendetta) are my favorites.
Favorite zombie movie: So many to choose from. 8...Later series, were I forced.
Favorite quote in any zombie movie: I don't really pick out quotes from movies often.

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: Wolf71Alpha.
My location: Afghanistan until 2012.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?
Hometown. Elsewhere would not pertain to me until it because a full-on pandemic, and that means it would eventually reach my hometown.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?
Personally, I'd stay home as possible. I do have a family member who has a home out in the boonies who has adequate space and supplies to support me and my immediate family for quite a while.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?
2000 Nissan Frontier 4x4 King cab.
Got anyone I want to take with me?
Several. Will I be able to? Negative. Will some even want to? Maybe.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?
There is a mostly intact HAM radio set up with a large directional antennae at said relative's house. I'm in the process of fixing up the transceiver and highly considering upgrading the ancient antennae.
How am I planning to get food and water?
The property has a well, and there is also a multitude of streams and rivers nearby. The entire area, where I live and where I am going, is mostly comprised of prime farmland, which gives plenty of options for fruits and vegetables. Tennessee has okay hunting for whitetail, though the effort put into hunting has diminished returns after so long with the size of the average TN whitetail.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?
M1 Carbine. Yes, I do need to reload it. I have plenty of magazines and ammunition. I have more ammunition on the way right now. I also have a RIA 1911A1 in 9mm, though I strongly lack magazines. And they are expensive. Chances are I'll be using a Taurus .357 snubbie as a backup.
Got a survival philosophy?
Not particularly. Hydrate or die? Teamwork is key? Attention to detail? A simple philosophical phrase can't be enough to encompass the ideas that support the survival of yourself and your group.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?
Why not? As long as they need me more than I need them, anyway. I'm a wary guy, with my experience with other humans so far.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?
Negative. Mine is based on what can be articulated as physically possible, and what can and has been calculated as the responses by the various governments and organizations. It ends up being a simple passtime if I get too serious about that, though, due to how quick a government could stop the spread or minimize it with any effort.
