What gives you the impression that your GF's old man with his qualifications and inventory will follow your leadership? Why wouldn't he just shoot you on sight when you show up (SHTF=no law and in your case, no SON-in-law)??

well his daughter is pretty attached to me and he's pretty attached to his daughter so that's working for me, and i could just Bug out with him and his family if he's cool with that. Plans change and you have to be adaptable and flexible.
