Im fourteen and have always been facinated by zombies ever since i read "The Zombie Survival Guide" I also like to think that im a pretty rational guy. I hear a lot of crap thats just not true about zombies and its disapointing (yes i know zombies are not real and/or have never been studied but some of this stuff is just common sense).

When I started thinking way too much about Zombies: 2003

What started my zombie fixation: Reading the zombie survival guide

Favorite Zombie book: The Zombie Survival Guide (Its a fun read but I wouldnt commit it to memory.)

Favorite Zombie movie: Dawn of the Dead

Favorite quote in any zombie movie: Now I hope no one condems me for this but im going to use a quote from another menber that I would have used in the first place but didnt think of;

The Zombie Survival Guide was a great book but i feel that it had many inacurracies and that most people think that his books are the holy bible of zombie lore. But they are sold in the humor section for a reason becuase its just not real, what do you think about this?

Everybody talks about who would'nt survive the zombie apocalypse, but i want to know who would. And if you think its you then feel free to say so and why.

I keep hearing that oil rigs would be a great survival fortress and I caan see all the ovious reasons. But I keep hearing that it would provied an infinite amout of fuel wich is simply untrue the machinarie needed to extract and refine the crude would be incredibly complex and impossible for the untrained to use. Also many of the systems that make life there bearable require power and would shut down exposeing survivors to harsh sea climates. Also fires could be started easily with the saftey systems down, they would spread fast without quick expert response and consume the rig killing many and leaving the others stranded in raftes.
