As of today, Friday July 24, 2009, I have decided to sell hand forged knives and swords online. More importantly, when this endevor gets under way it will be the first time I have ever sold a sword to any one in the general public.
Right now, I'm in the process of building a brand new wood burning forge and buying a new anvil (increasing my anvil's weight for any one in the know). I'm also going through negotiations with a friend about the online sites capabilities, upkeep, and server space.
The site is hopefully going to support pay-pal or some other secure payment method and accept visa and some other name brand credit lines. The estimated startup time for the company is around 4-7 months, due to monetary restrictions of course. My goal is to create a work of art that could end 10,000 lives, be welcomed in a museum, and be worth the price if you never pulled it from its sheath. The name has yet to be decided but my blades will be marked with my grandfathers brand or "ranch symbol" so any thing sold will be made with heart, if not perfection.
