My location:Near Madison, Wisconsin.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?It depends on the number of zombies, their location in relevance to my town, how quickly they are spreading, and how well they are being contained.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?The more I think about it, the more I want to go to my great-uncle's farm in Alexandria, Minnesota. It's a huge, sprawling property, but if you saw it, it has a lot of natural barriers and would be easy to contain. The house would be easy to make safe, and there are outlying barns and even a chicken house redone into a 'playhouse' for the kids which i could make a mini safe house. He still farms, so I would be able to maintain farming and harvest my own food. He has a ton of mechanical odds and ends up there I could use for a myriad of things.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?I would take my brother's jeep and my dad's truck.
Got anyone I want to take with me?Father, brother, boyfriend, one other friend and if his family succumbed to the zombies, my teacher. Each has specific strengths, which is why I would bring them.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?We will probably keep a CB radio in the two vehicles and a communication radio in the farm house.
How am I planning to get food and water?It is a farm, and they have their own well. If for some reason it dries up or we cannot get water, they live not far from a lake we could purify, with some work.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?Well, my father is sort of a gun collector. I don't know what I'd use yet. Definitely would keep a metal baseball bat, and some other melee weapon to be determined. For reloading guns, my boyfriend bought my father a 'Reloader's bible: everything you need to know about reloading' book. It even tells you how to make your own bullets, with the right materials.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?Most likely NOT.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not that I know of, unless someone knows something I don't.
