Hi, I am a 15 year old who lives in a small rural town in Virginia
I have been reading the threads in this forum for a while now. I have not got a definite plan on what i should do when/if Zday should happen. Any good advice or techniques that might be useful?
I"m a pretty good shot with my Savage .22 at 150 yards in, and, since i shoot it almost daily, i am even more proficient with my H&R single shot 12 gauge. I have many assorted melee weapons and have a compound bow with 10 arrows to use when our decent sized ammo collection is completely used up. My dad already has food for the four members of my family stored up (enough to last a year) and our own well as well as a stream stocked with fish. Our house is fairly defendable, the glass door at the front being the main problem. no windows are at a level that a zombie could reach other than two by the door i stated earlier. We have a 15 acre plot of land and only one neighbor within a miles distance?
If you were in my shoes would you bug out or stay in? If bugging outs the way to go, how would you recommend doing so?

Hello Josh,
It sounds like you answered your own question in your post. Your house can be defended and you can live off your land. Board up that glass door and barricade the others. You should plan in a way to boost what you already have. Stock up. You should also consider a BOB just in case you are over run. You may have bad luck or whatever and have to bail on the gem location you already have. So to sum it up you should bug in but be prepared to bail if things get hairy. This is just my opinion.

So when zombies inevitably take over everyone has to defend themselves. pick a main weapon, a back up weapon, and a melee weapon. these must be weapons you own. rate the post above yours /10.
