My Bug Out Bag
My Survival Plan: My “handle”: Duterfel or Oddball My location: London Ontario Canada Will I be staying put or bugging out? I will be heading up north to a more secure, sustainable location...possibly Algonquin National Park. I'll live up in the trees like a friggin Ewok if I have to. I'm bugging out, how do I plan to get there? I have a car but would commendeer a school bus, travel bus or transport truck ASAP. My wife can drive big rigs and I can drive just about everything else. Got anyone I want to take with me? My wife and my three ferrets. I also have a group of ten very close friends (my team) who are on constant stand-by. How will I communicate with the outside world? Internet, H.A.M. radio, C.B. radio or military all wave radio. How am I planning to get food and water? Raiding, scavenging and looting at first. What's yours is mine if I want or need it. As time passes hunting, gathering and agriculture may be the only way of sustaining life. What are my weapons of choice? Anything that will kill in one strike or one shot. Got a survival philosophy? Stay above them or out of reach whenever possible...like on the roof of a bus or a large truck. Stay moving and don't let them trap you. Shoot and reload in a staggered formation so that everyone doesn't run out of ammo at the same time. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes...if you are useful...and you don't get on my nerves. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? I'd love to take a massive mall and hold it for as long as possible...Dawn of the Dead style...but getting out of big cities and travelling up north may be a safer course of action. I don't think that undead zombies will like the cold very much. The undead should just freeze into solid blocks of rotting meat. Ballistics Gel Test (Common Pistol Calibres) Some of our Canadian Military Grade Hardware Just a Personal Pet Peeve Of Mine...and this is why.
