Raiding question...

First off, great profile. Ok now to the point, you mention you will raid to survive, at least at first. Any idea as to how long you will raid, how often you feel you will need to, and how far you will take it. By that I mean, run in and shoot anyone in the way, or simply go in and tell them what you are doing, and deal with resistance accordingly. Just trying to get an idea of how some other raiders minds may work.
Do you find this valuable?

I will "raid" or "scavange" whatever I need when I need it. I will also hunt while on the move. I will check abandoned vehicles and homes. I will not kill for the sake of raiding what you have. I will only take what has been left behind by all those that have been killed. You never know what you are going to find or how much of what...so you never know how far what you have found will take you. You do what you can with what you got.

This does not mean that I won't kill to survive. I have killed and I will kill again if I need to. I would rather join forces with other survivors instead of killing everyone. If the people encountered are hostile...I will kill before being killed. After...I will take what ever they got that is useful.
