When I started thinking way too much about zombies:
When I was a little kid and saw Night of the Living Dead for the first time.

Favorite zombie book:
Day by Day Armageddon by J.L. Bourne

Night of the Living Dead. The original 1968 version or the 1990 remake.

Favorite quote in any zombie movie:
"In the brain and not the chest. Head shots are the very best."

My Survival Plan:

My location: Southern California (L.A. area)

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?
Considering that I live in a highly populated area, I'm going to lay low at first to see how bad it really gets. However, my main goal is to get as far away as possible from the city.

If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?
Unless I manage to find something better, my car.

Got anyone I want to take with me?
Family & friends. Also, my dogs.

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?
I'll have a radio w/me, so if there is any broadcast I'll know. I'm also considering to get myself a portable CB radio.

How am I planning to get food and water?
I have a good amount of supplies at my house and if I plan on leaving, my BOB is ready. However, when supplies run thin, I'm just going to have to go out and search.

What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?
Depends on the situation. If I need to be discreet, I'll use my ASP or my Brooklyn Smasher. Other then that, my boom stick will do just fine.

Got a survival philosophy?
"It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose."
-Darrin Weinberg-

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?
I'll be wary of everyone at first, but maybe if the group looks friendly and well prepared, why not? If I'm already in a group and we come across another surviving group, I would like to band together if they can benefit us or if they have something we need. Also, they need to be fewer in numbers compared to us. I sure as hell wouldn't like to be overturned, staying in control is necessary.

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?
A mixture of many thing.
