About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: I really dont collaborate too much about the subject, but i give it a thought when my causin and brother bring it up.
What started my zombie fixation: After watching how retarded the people in 28 days later were.
Favorite zombie book: none
Favorite zombie movie: 28 days later, the only true realistic zombies i could imagine
Favorite quote in any zombie movie:

Selena: We have enough food.
Jim: Yeah, but we don't have any cheeseburgers

My Survival Plan:

My location: My initial plan would be to find a place that is the easiest to fortify in the initial outbreak. This could be the local high school nuclear bomb fallout shelter. Shelters such as these are meant to house many families from a nuclear fallout for years. I think a zombie attack wouldnt even compare to such an attack. Giving enough time to let the zombies die off. But since im all about going big oo go home i'd ad in a little over kill. If the High school wasn't suitable enough for my high standards I would then travel to a local Min. or Max. security prison, or at least one the has walls worthy enough to hold back a crowd. I would use the armory for weapons and gather some on the way to the jail itself. Now i say travel as if it was easy right? Well my plan for travel includes a freightliner (FLD11264SD more specifically) but anything along those lines would be acceptable. I have a stick welder in my garage and lots of scrap metal around my neighborhood ( my neighbor has a lot of tools and a large garage as do I). I would make the trailer connect to the cab for an escape route i would take out all the windows so no debris would block the drivers view and I would bar up the windows and make the truck unclimb-able with spikes and barb-wire and scrap metal sticking out on the edges and hood. I would add on a plow to move abandoned cars as well. I would add an expanded gas tank for longer distance driving. I would add i non-climb-able roof onto the trailer so no zombies could enter from above. I would also add a escape hatch underneath the trailer incase of a situation where the truck is immobilized or turned on its side. The trailer will have sliding hatches to let out explosives or to fire back into a hourde of zombies. Now that i have transportation I'll catch up to the prison. Since a prison is meant to keep people inside opposed to keeping people out, some adjustments will need to be made. The weak areas in the prison will be fortified to certain specification. Cars and jersey barriers could be used if a quick source needs to be found. Otherwise concrete with a wooden molding would do just nicely. The prison is also rigged with cameras and watchtowers and most prisons have high unclimbable walls perfect for grounded zombies. Never mind all the weapons located onsight. For defending the zombies outside the walls i would set the spot lights outside the walls and they'll be set off by trip wire. Explosives will also be set off by trip wire beyond the walls, napalm can be made with house hold items, nevermind the ubundance of gasoline. I would also see if there is a stream nearby, if there is then i would take the survivors I have and find an excavator to dig a trench towards the prison to give a good flowing supply of water. Water when boiled can be sanitized and used. As for food I will simply go to local food markets if not already raided, plus local households should have a lot of food as well. since they were raided by zombies before the people could plan. Also prisons have lots of space, though covered with pavment it could be ripped up and plowed suitable enough for an inhouse farm ( dont forget how big prisons are). I would lock each cell block and make escape routes under the wall incase of a break in. As far as people I would take with me, I would take of course any able bodied family members as well as any able bodied survivors the more people able to hold a gun the better. As for weapons you need to expect the worst and im sorry but blunted objects just wont cut it ( literally). I wont fast easy kills no hack jobs. By father has about 4 guns himself including 1 pistol, 1 22-rifle (semi), 1 m1 grand, and a 30 odd 6. Plus both my neighbors have guns including a shot gun. I would also acquire propane tanks for big bangs. When i get to the prison i expect to find some weapons and if I dont i would go to a local gun dealer or shop if it wasn't already torn apart. As far as communication I would just broadcast a local signal of our wearabouts and its coordinates on a map, as well with local signs and direction by local towns. I dont't plan on running into people willing on stealing our stuff considering we're basically in a fortress, with weapons.

Plan 2
If im in luck since i live in boston, there is a huge harbor and there is usually a large military vessel (ship) within its harbors. I would take the ship from the docks and drop anchor outside the coast off a few miles. The Ships are nuclear powered so they don't need fuel. I would preferably take an aircraft carrier because of its size, helicopter capability, fuel and food presence on board.
