About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Is it possible to think too much about zombies? I mean, we're talking about the possible extinction of mankind here - we've gotta be prepared!

What started my zombie fixation: The original Resident Evil for playstation

Favorite zombie book: The Zombie Survival Guide

Favorite zombie movie: Undead

Favorite quote in any zombie movie:

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web:

My location: Somewhere in New England, United States

Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? My home is not in an ideal location, and I would only stay there if leaving was impossible. I would try to head north, into Canada or northern Maine where it is more sparsely populated and the weather is colder. Low population density would mean fewer zombies to deal with and a slower geographic spread of the infection. Cold temperatures tend to slow down the reproductive rate of viruses so that might help as well.

home - Zombie Survival & Defense Wiki If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? My transportation is a dual sport motorcycle. I will take along a hose and a pry bar to siphon gas out of wrecked vehicles in case the gas stations all get run dry in the panic. Although I won't be able to carry as much gear as with a car or truck, I will be able to maneuver around obstacles much more freely and ride off road if necessary.

Got anyone I want to take with me? Plenty of people - friends, family. Of course, there is only room for one person on my bike, so most of them will need to have their own transportation.

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?

How am I planning to get food and water? Most of the emergency food and sterilized water in my home would have to be left behind if I were to leave. On a motorcycle, I can only reasonably carry food for a few days. I will have to hunt, gather and scavenge after that. Rice, freeze dried food, and water purification tablets will be necessary. Zombies, being carnivorous, could possibly be attracted by meat so I will try to stick to grains and vegetables wherever possible.

What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? I have a suppressed Five-seveN pistol with several 20 and 30 round magazines. The ammunition is smaller and has a higher velocity than typical pistol ammunition. This makes it less effective at destroying muscle tissue and bone, but more effective against other things like liver or brain tissue. It should be excellent at stopping zombies. If I run out of ammo, I have a survival knife for backup. I would really like to take a rifle, but there will probably not be room for one on the bike.

Got a survival philosophy? Use stealth and ingenuity to stay alive, and weapons as a last resort.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes. An organized group stands a better chance of survival than a single person alone.

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? No.
