the way on to it is about 1/2 kilometer long and its next to a navy base

Not bad, it definitely has potential. The problem would be self-sustaining crops, though. But it would work for a temporary shelter.

i just checked the surrounding area on google maps (54.547956,18.560493) there are fields to farm about 1 kilometer away and there is even a helipad next to the bridge ^^
