Jan 22 2008, 6:56 AM EST I have a preparedness plan specific to my location, but I can give you the basic idea. 1) Rally the troops. Get together everyone who has gone over the disaster plan and know their parts. 2) Harvest. Aquire additional supplies such as food, water, lumber and transport. 3) Barricade. Everyone relocates to the designated fall-back position and prepares it for a long term habitation. 4) Barrage. Once everyone is settled and the supplies have been gathered its now time to wait it out and hope for rescue, doing so is made easier if any offending corpses that stray too close to your camp are dispatched quickly and quietly.
