About Me:
home - Zombie Survival & Defense Wiki
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: when I was a child, I was paranoid about some sort of SHTF senario
What started my zombie fixation:when I saw the night of the living dead a few years back
Favorite zombie book:...yeah, about that...
Favorite zombie movie: right now its diary of the dead
I dont really have a favorite zombie quote, so here is some more about me: I was born on Feb. 18th 1988. I tend to drink a lot and I enjoy that. I am a father of one son and who knows if there is going to be more. I am going to be married by the end of this year to my fiance Andi and I'm excited about that.I am currently a sales rep for a large communcations company and hate it, so I started going into the family business of doing taxes. Its kinda lame, but its nice to be able to pay for a wedding and buy a new car in one year when your 21. ****, 22.

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web:
My location:timmytot, timmbob
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? my plan for survival depends on me being in my home town, but I assume that they will be everywhere
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?dependsing on where I am where it hits us here, I might stay, or I might go
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?whichever available cars/truck that we have around us
Got anyone I want to take with me?immediate family, but it would be hard to trust anyone else
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?I will probably just be a hermit for a long while untill I become comfortable with my surroundings and then start to moniter if possible.
How am I planning to get food and water?hopefully start off with my already stocked items, but them things get interesting...
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?im a big fan of my mossberg 500, sks, mosin, and glock. I do not have reloading equipmet, but we DO have a small stockpile lol.
Got a survival philosophy?be prepared.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?im always leery about trusting others...
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? not that i know of. I figure its not god to have someone elses plan because everyone is different, and its usually a different situation.

ZOMBIE, RAGE ZOMBIES, EOTW, ETC........
In my opinion, the probably of "actual" zombies is going to be very slight, if not impossible. Now, maybe im just being paranoid, but my bet is going it being some sort of virus. I mean for muscles to work, or for a brain to work, you need blood at least. Now by no means am I saying that I am any sort of scientist, or even someone train in this sort of thing, but what i am saying is to not have a one track mind. Be open to the fact that things might not be the same as a Max Brooks book or a Romero movie and be prepared for that.
Some on this websit have said that it is here not so much for zombies, but more-or-less for general preparedness, but I for one actually think some sort of SHTF situation might be comming to us soon...ish

Heres my plan for when it all comes down!

My current BOB is something that is ever changing. The actual pack has not changed much lately however, it is a Cabelas DiamondPeak Ridgeline:

It's really not a bad backpack from what I can see. While I haven't used it much, it's still not brand new either. Anyways, it's about 5000cu and it already comes with a 2 liter hydration bladder with its own accomodations for routing it to the front shoulder strap.

Like I said, this thing is always being reworked, but for this second it's not all in, but heres what I DO have in it:

My zero degree mummy bag, medical kit, flint, full roll of duct tape, solar flashlight, 50ft of paracord, camp trowel, and a safety wistle. most of these are stored in the top compartment, but the sleeping bag is in the bottom portion of the bag near the rainfly.

In one saide compartment I have the mess kit, salt/pepper with old bay/granulated garlic, spork, knife sharpener, hobo tool, multi vitamin, soap, full spool of fiching line with sinkers and hooks(which will change soon), and toilet paper!

In the oppostie said, I have leather work gloves, 2 emergancy blankets, a poncho, replacement bulbs for mini maglite, lighter/matches, 2 candles, a deck of cards, a bunch of wetfire, and a bag of compressed dryer lint.

I always try to keep a fair amount of food in there no matter what changes I make to the bag, but this is what I have for that!

Clothing is something I am currently changing so for now all I have is 2 pairs of long underwear bottoms and tops with a watterproof jacket that is warm enough to use in the snow.

Most of your BOB looks pretty similar to mine and what I still need. The glock and ka-bar we both have, except different calibers. Cool vest too. I have a vest but I've changed my mind on it. Very nicely organized BOB tho.

Wow you actually made an SKS look pretty bad ass. I myself am trying to gather the funds right to purchase one. Do you have any problems with your after market mags? I have heard good things and bad from various sources.
