My location: South central Texas
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Depends on scale of out break and what kind.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Bunker up for initial outbreak and move north after the initial panic is over.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? SUV convoy till unable to find fuel Hiking after that. If we can find it I can drive just about anything in the Army inventory (Tank, APC, Hummer, LMTV)
Got anyone I want to take with me? I have a small initial team who knows the initial plan, what to signal upon outbreak and where to meet.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Cell phone until it goes down, will salvage radio on the move.
How am I planning to get food and water? Have a small stockpile of food (about 2 weeks for 4 people) Have several gallons of water and have filters for getting more. Will try to hit Class one yard at military camp after panic (everyone is going for the guns and ammo and probably won't know what class one is)
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? My M-4 in 5.56MM and my M9 in 9MM common ammunition of military and police. Have other weapons to arm other people who may join my group in various calibers, 12GA, 308, 22LR, 7.62 x 39, 30 Carbine, 30.06, 303, .45ACP
Got a survival philosophy? avoid combat as much as posible and move north on the assumption that zombies freeze in winter.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes, if they don't look like a bunch of raiders, thugs or gang bangers. Women and children traveling with them might tempt me to meet up with them (shows they may care about something other than themselves) if just to trade information.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not that I know of
