Think Like a survivalist, Survive like a survivalist, WIN as a survivalist. GENERAL: My name is Austin. I am 14 and am a current freshman in high school. I live in Ohio. I am around 5 7 and weigh 120 lbs. Skills: I am a good problem solver and have a general knowledge of a very large amount of stuff (i enjoy asking questions whenever I can about anything and spend a lot of time watching discover channel and auto shows to enhance my little knowledge about cars) I have a very good knowledge of guns and I can learn to use a brand new gun in around thirty seconds. I am trained in some martial arts and self defense and i am decent in unarmed combat good enough to pull off the occasional headkick (i know how to PROPERLY use a knife to). I'm very physically fit although I'm under weight i still have a decent muscular structure ( i have good strength pretty much everywhere but my arms i guess my biceps just dont want to fit the rest of my body) I am okay at parkour not crazy good but hoping fences head high are no problem to me and I am decent on getting onto most any roof ( my skills are good enough to get me away from law enforcement ) i know how to land and roll properly from high falls so i wont hurt myself. however i have asthma ( its going away at a fast rate) but my cardio is not where it should be i cant run for very far without being winded so i choose to just put as many obstacles between me and my pursuers as possible but i can run a good distance when affected by adrenaline. PLACES IN THE VICINITY: 3 small parks and one very huge state (i think soon to be national) park all within a fifteen minute drive. HOSPITAL1 is less than one mile away and HOSPITAL 2 is a little less than 1.5 miles away. they can both be seen from my house. MIDDLE SCHOOL about 1.8 miles away. MILITARY SURPLUS/ SURVIVAL STORE 1.5 miles away PHARMACY/ CORNER STORE. # 1 is about .6 miles away. # 2 is 1.5 miles away FIRE STATION one block over Those are some primary locations around me. however within around 3 square miles of my home i have two mechanic shops and two auto part stores. 3 strip malls over 10 fast food restaurants two warehouses and two grocery stores and 5 gas stations marksmans 52 plan: PLAN A: My first plan is to stay at my house and Barricade my front porch first which should be quiet a challenge because it is windows all the way around but they are around seven and a half feet off the ground which should help alot. the lot i live on is around 1 and a half acres and my neighbors yard is the same and next to his there is a large wild field that grows any different wild berries. my garage is fairly large with my dads office attached to it. it has thick glass brick shatterproof windows one entrance with a steel and shatterproof glass door backed by a solid oak door with a heavy duty deadbolt on it. There are also two large garage doors one in the front and one in the back one is electric and the other is manual with spring assisted opening the both have two deadbolt lock on them. also my garage has an attic. My house is around 1300 square feet with two doorways on the ground floor (my house has around a 4 foot raised foundation). my third doorway is between my basement and my ground floor. I will remain in my house until the majority of the chaos has gone away. After that happens i will first secure my neighbors houses until my street is clear. After i have cleared my street i will begin to scout the important locations close to me. Starting with the Menard's about 20 minutes away on foot. I will scope it out from a nearby overpass with my binoculars first to see if there are any other parties of people or zeds in the vicinity. If there are non on the outside I will enter with caution and take a quick run through the gardening section and grab a couple packets of seeds. i will also try to take note of how much construction supplies are left. PLAN B: I will head out to my grandfather's house. He lives out in the country surrounded by farmland. literally 100 feet from his house is a wildlife preservation with a couple ponds. About 4 football fields behind his house is a deer farm , i have walked out behind his garage and literally seen 18 deer at the same time (he hunts from the back window of his garage). He also has a pond with fish on his property. About 15 minutes on foot down his road is another pond with fish also. and about the same distance down the road not to far out past my grandfathers shooting range is another pond where many duck hunter's hunt. there are also many wild fruit trees and berries that grow naturally out there. My grandfather has to many weapons to disclose with the public. But he does reload his own shotgun shells. He also has a lot of machining equipment in his garage. marksman 52's weapons and gear: GUNS: Mossberg 500 stock 5 rounds in the tube, Remington 870 stock, Sig Sauer p226,(http://www.chuckhawks.com/savage_93R17.htm link to picture of .17) .17 hmr savage model 93 with 4 5 round mags and a Nikon scope, Another Remington ( i don't know the model) 12 gauge, with a tactical stock tactical pistol grip and a 10 round snail magazine and two 5 round box magazines also 5 in the tube. Winchester model 67 .22 (fires shorts and longs) breach loader (i know its slow but its accurate and quiet and the Small caliber shouldn't exit a skull which means no blood pool on the ground for cleanup) and its very lightweight. Also my dad is acquiring a Kimber 1911 pro covert II with a 7 round mag and a crimson trace lazer grip. (NOTE: i am proficient with all these guns so don't say awww your a teenager you don't know anything. i have a very extensive knowledge of firearms for someone of my age) Other weapons: i have a collection of 25 knives. anything from switchblades to Swiss army knives to daggers to fixed blades. My primary combat knife would be my Ka-Bar it is the WWII style with the leather handle and it has serrations, however they are not pointed but they are like half circles so they wont get stuck. I could also probably use my new bowie knife with a 9 inch blade on it to fight but seeing as it weighs around 4 and a half pounds i cant maneuver it quick enough to work around an enemies hands ( yes i do know how to fight with a knife and my hands i take muay thai , Brazilian jujitsu and my trainer also teaches a number of other styles i fight full out with grappling gloves on with my friends for fun and we knock each other out on a regular basis i broke my noes in my second fight ha-ha) but it could easily chop straight into a skull with a downward slash which is something not easily don't with any of my other knives. otherwise besides those two and my Swiss army knife i don't really have many other special knives. the rest would just be used as last ditch defense seeing as they are all lightweight dispensable and are easy to conceal Gear: I don't have much in the way of gear. I have a ruger Air Hawk that shoots at 1,200 fps. I have a couple tents and a lot of construction supplies. (my dad is a plumber and does other jobs as well) i have two hiking book bags with weight distribution straps. I have a I have multiple tarps and bungee cords and around 150 feet of nylon rope. I do have a good pair of binoculars (they were issued to my grandfather in the army) and i have a good quality compass but besides that i have nothing much.
