My name is Chris i am part of the United states sea cadet program even though I do not believe zombies are a threat I just find them interesting and it is a kind of hobby of mine. this is my second profile I've had on this site the first i deleted after some problems. sea cadet carrier: rank: petty officer 3th class ribbons: recruiting, academic, and expert marksmanship. special: I have the expert marksmanship ribbon which is the highest and most difficult ribbon for marksmanship I got it in basic training for the AR-15, .22 rifle, and a SKS. Now I know my dad and he will take this seriously and follow what advice I could give him I have brought up the topic of a SHTF scenario and he has agree that he will buy a firearm it probably won't be that big maybe just a shotgun and a lever action rifle. Next supplies me and my dad bought have tactical gear and I have some survival items such as knifes some fires starters camelbacks but things such as food and other survival equipment will be needed. probably MRE's and dried goods. Hope fully we could get this done before anyone really starts to take notice of the disease. then we will pick my family members up on the way to my cousins house. My cousins have many guns including a thompson two or three shotguns and about four rifle's bolt action. I believe to get all of these pereparations done will take one or two months at most and get the family will only take a couple hours they need to bring there own supplies though. After we have collected supplies and family which isn't many more then my cousins and grandparents we will go south to the B.O.L. On the way down I will collect a few friends (most of these will be from my unit and the remaining one or two will be good friends) that I know and a couple of other people who are willing to come. Might even stop at a store like a home depot to get thing such as wood and building materials for a small structure or two. when we reach the B.O.L start building and stocking up from surrounding towns till panic is In full swing then hunker down. Sense its in florida I don't need to worry about winters and all there problems. My uncle's and father are rather good fishers two of my uncle's usual catches will be able to feed the group for almost a day and there is a marina there and a rangers station witch may have a weapon inside and radio. there are game such as white tailed deer in the area and other animals.
