Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? hiding out in my house the first couple days

If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? at first by pick up truck, then by bicycle

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? i will be broadcasting via C.B radio
How am I planning to get food and water? carry enough for 48 hours then rely on hunting, fishing and scrounging
