About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: When me and my friends started talking about resident evil scenarios.

What started my zombie fixation: Resident Evil 2 game
Favorite zombie book: World War Z, Day by Day Armageddon series
Favorite zombie movie: Resident Evil Degeneration
Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "Shoot them in the head."

My Survival Plan:
My handle/callsign should you look for me on the radio waves : "Ranger" or "JASE". on channels 4, 19, or 37USB (upper side band)
My location: Waverly TN

Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?
Around the Waverly TN area

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Home for the most part. until after the looting and panic attacks finish

If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? As a last resort I leave home using my 77 F-250 4x4 and my wife's ford explorerhome - Zombie Survival & Defense Wiki

Got anyone I want to take with me? My family and a few friends with there
4X4 vehicles. Alot of us are outdoor enthusiast and have lots of guns, ammo, bows, camping gear and survival training.

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Cell Phone untill its overwhelmed or useless due to lack of maintenance, tower problems and so on. C.B. radio for most part. Cobra 29 NW WX and Galaxy 979 (the cobra on the left is my wife's the galaxy is in my truck.)
home - Zombie Survival & Defense Wikihome - Zombie Survival & Defense Wiki

How am I planning to get food and water? Currently trying to stock up every paycheck by buying M.R.E's. dehydrated meals as well as water containers at walmart in camping section.

What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Currently its my Stag Arms model 8 gas piston AR, Glock 19 gen4 and Savage 12 gauge, yes have to reload, yes pickup my issued weapons from work and use them first if available or give to my wife to use. Also currently saving for reloading equipment for standard NATO calibers....

Got a survival philosophy? prepare for the worst and pray for the best. and The only easy day was yesterday.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? yes as long as they are around Waverly, New Johnsonville, Camden area
.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not really most of it deals with military survival manuals as well as what I've been trained for Air Force Security Forces veteran. In Tennessee there are tons of places to get away from everything and if need be set up a short term camp. Using maps and collecting Intel via C.B. radio and if available Wireless Internet, Short Wave Radio, AM radio and HAM radio if available....

I see there are alot of other c.b. users and was wondering if anyone else would like to start a directory for c.b. users. An example below.
Handle/Callsign- your area- local channel used or ch19
Ranger- Cheyenne Wy- Channel 4, 19, or 37 USB (upper side band)

The reason for this is if you are mobile on the road you can talk to fellow zsdw members or survivors. Just a thought for those who have or are thinking about getting a c.b. in the future they are a great investment. I currently own a Cobra 29 night watch with weather for my wife's vehicle and a Galaxy 979 with SSB (single side band) for my old Ford truck. With my setup im currently reaching people over 30 miles away in a place called Loveland CO. You can only imagine the number of cell towers that will crash in the first few hours due to over use after an actual zombie event or natural disaster. Not to mention for the $200 or less you own it forever and theres no monthly fee involved or lisence needed like with the HAM radios. If anyone else would like please add your input. Its always better to prepare especially if you are going the loner or scavenger route. Or just to get updates while in transit to your safe house.
