Some of the entries on this wiki frighten me. This is supposed to be a collection of plans, strategies, reviews, and tips for surviving a zombie outbreak. Instead, half of what I've read is misguided, misinformed, or just completely wrong. I'm not knocking all of the pages on this wiki; many are filled with good info and solid facts. Others, however, are more than likely to get people killed. You cannot "cure" a zombie, as in order to become one of the undead, you have to DIE. Curing a zombie would require reversing death itself, no small feat. Taking over a Wal-Mart in an outbreak is a TERRIBLE idea; it would be packed with frantic people trying to get supplies and unscrupulous people looting the rest, and common sense dictates that where there's people, there's Zeds (not to mention the logistical nightmare of transforming a building designed to let people in easily and show them what's inside into a fortress that keeps the living and the dead out). Zombies rely on all of their senses equally, so taking out their eyes will do NOTHING. They can still smell you, hear you, and possibly touch you, so they can still BITE you.

I consider myself a disciple of Max Brooks; as far as I'm concerned, the Zombie Survival Guide is the authority on the living dead. My weapons of choice include a .22 rifle (light, quiet, ammo can be found anywhere), a crowbar (practical uses as well as skull-crushing power), an 8" Bowie knife, and a homemade wooden baseball bat. My skills include hunting, sharpshooting, basic survivalist skills, first aid, CPR, agriculture, and storytelling (keeps morale up, good for long siege nights).
