Hey, I'm Tebben. I'll give you the pertinent information.

I am 22 and about to graduate from the University of Illinois, where I have been studying Cognitive Sciences (specifically Linguistics) and Military Science.

I was in Army ROTC for four years. Three of those years I have also been enlisted in the Illinois National Guard. I attended Basic and Advanced Individual Training. I have drilled and trained as both a driver and officer with a Transportation unit, as well as a Military Intelligence unit. In ROTC, we focused on Infantry sqad and individual tactics.

After a block of training this summer, I will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the National Guard. I then transferred to a Cavalry Recon and Surveillance unit in Indiana, where I am the Assistant Battalion Intelligence Officer. In August I will start a full time National Guard job at an advanced urban training center.

Until I received the offer for the aforementioned job, I had planned to work in local law enforcement for a few years before making the jump to a federal intelligence agency. I have studied and trained in a few various police type tactics, but most of my training comes from the Army.
I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, with a fair amount of backpacking and camping experience.

When I started thinking way too much about Zombies: Sophomore year of high school. I started hanging out with the wrong crowd (zombie enthusiasts).

What started my zombie fixation: Watching the Romero trilogy, as well as various other zombie films.

Favorite Zombie book: World War Z and, by assosciation, The Zombie Survival Guide

Favorite Zombie movie: Hopefully, WWZ when it is released, but until then, Dawn of the Dead (1978).

Favorite quote in any zombie movie:
Kenneth: Is everyone there dead? Steve: Well, dead-ish. Kenneth: Is everyone there DEAD? Steve: Yeah, in the sense that they all sort of, uh... fell down... and then got up... and started eating each other. -Dawn of the Dead (2004)

My score and score summary on the non-lame zombie survival test:
91% survivability,75% kickass-ability
