I just got tired of rearranging. I'll fix it. I put the small one on the belt of the vest and the big one is just loose in the sack I keep the vest in. I'll look next time I go shopping for a travel sized sunscreen to add. It would probably come in handy a lot before z-day. (I know my travel sized deodorant always did.)

Is it optional to have it on the outside or inside of your boot? with a clip sheath

Not sure, I've never tried to carry it that way. I guess it just depends on the user. I'd prefer inside if it's not too uncomfortable. It'll keep it covered up better and one less thing that can get caught on rope or wire.
