"Sit back in my little corner of the world minding my own business."

Alot of folks here talk about wandering off to who-knows-where, but I have always thought that the best place to survive is a place you've lived your whole life. There's nothing you know better than your own home. This is why I would stay put, even if many think city survival would be tougher. It's what I know.

I'm with him, better to have the home turf advantage, you know where the dead ends are, terrain that'll help you get away, places to hide...

you might know other local suvivors. can you trust them? yes...no

the only time i would leave my home town is if i lived in NY or CHICAGO. places like that.

in all honesty i dont think id be wandering too far until the local supplies were exhausted and/or ruined (natural disasters etc..) because like you said... i know where i am here and i know whos around

besides if i disappear underground for w while, guerilla style, i can come back for all my bits n bobs in all the little 'hiding places' :D

A very belated thank you.

I can't imagine surviving anwhere else. I know the country around my home like the back of my hand.

I've lived on the same road pretty much my whole life and as sad as that sounds it suites me and this is where the people I can count on live. This snake is getting too old to change his pattern now. Every morning I wake up and am thankful for another day in this laid back little piece of nowhere.

DN's writings are making me nostalgic. I miss the exploring the farm fields, climbing the rock walls, the streams, the forests, the inadvertent dangers of a charging bull XD, and of course my friends ; _ ;
