My location: Georgia, United States
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? My plans are based on a full zombie outbreak scenario. To me it would be unfeasible to not plan for the majority of mankinds population to be dead or turned.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Headed to my BOL which is in the same state, but one county over. I will be looking into setting up survivor shelters at different locations I have mapped out, i.e. schools, warehouses, feed mills, and other locations which could easily be fortified to withstand an attack.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Via vehicle while it is still feasible.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My wife, my kids, my friends from work, and any survivors who would like to stay alive.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Via policeband radios, HAM Radios, CB's, and etc.
How am I planning to get food and water? At first by scavenging stores, then when survivor shelters are completed, probably by farming co-ops. My BOL is near a couple of county water sources. Which should suffice.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? My primary weapon will be the TAC 15 Tactical Crossbow. It has to be reloaded every shot, but it is silent and accurate. I will also carry my pistols just in case. I will also carry my katana, along with other miscellaneous weaponry. Anything else that can be used as a wepon will be used. Silence and stealth will be the main thing on the land, but you have to defend your BOL. Stealth won't matter at a BOL or Survivor Shelter, only stopping power.

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Yes, I formulated my plan after watching movies and reading books, but I did not base it on any one thing or the other. I used information from many sources, including this site. My plan is still a work in progress right now, and will be until Z-Day. There is always room to improve, but I hope to post mine on here soon, and I am open to any ideas.
