What started my zombie fixation: Same as above. Favorite zombie book: the currently untitled one I am writing. Favorite zombie movie: I Am Legend, The Walking Dead (which is technically a television show.) Favorite quote in any zombie movie: My Skills: I have average aim with a gun or other ranged weapon, I am in fairly good shape and pretty strong. I know CPR, First Aid, and some other basic medical stuff, including recognizing common medicines. I have some skill with melee weapons and unarmed combat and I know my guns and calibers, but not enough for much gunsmithing. I can reload bullets, but don't have the supplies right now. I am an expert on all things strange, unexplained, and supernatural, as well as zombie theories. My Survival Plan Will Be Posted Soon My location: SC, America Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Aywhere Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? I would leave if possible. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Ford Focus. Got anyone I want to take with me? Family. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I've been looking to get a HAM radio and some two-ways. Also, if I think 'Z-Day' is coming, I'll talk to some ZSDW members and such. How am I planning to get food and water? Anywhere. My ideal destination is a small place I have in the mountains with its own spring and a stream nearby. What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? SKS and Five-SeveN are guns I'd like to have. I currently have Marlin 60. High capacity 1911's are great but expensive, and I also like Beretta 96 (.40caliber). Shovel, hatchet, or other tool/weapons for melee. Got a survival philosophy? I can't be the only surviver. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? It depends. Almost always yes. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? No My Current BOB/Gear/Loadout: Other than the gun and maybe the hatchet, it can all be stuffed in my National Guard backpack. Contents: Swiss Army Knife, Pocket Knife, Fancy Knife Hatchet Big Kitchen Knife 2 Flashlights Batteries Some different clothes for different weather Canned nonperishables (small supply) Water Bottles (medium supply) Marlin Model 60 A couple books, maybe two with survival-relevant information and one for etrtainment. Deck of cards. A large stockpile of .22lr rounds. (I could easily carry two boxes of 400-500 rounds. That's why I like .22). (No need to bring toothbrush and toothpaste or floss, I've learned ways of doing that with sticks and such.) My Base/Bug-Out-Location A somewhat remote small house in the North Carolina mountains with it's own spring and a nearby stream as well as difficult terrain around it with which I am familiar.
