Everybody knows that Z-day is going to happen. And as long as we prepare ahead of time and avoid being bitten, this will only take 4-8 years to blow over. But 4-8 years is a long time and after our supplies run out how will we survive. Well, as long as we can organize ourselves i propose a solution. We could set up a network of outposts for different needs, such as: farming, ranching, powerplants, manufacturing plants, ect. These outposts would have to be located along railways for easy transportation and because zombies cant stop trains. with this system we could live through world war z by just letting them rot away. Now im not saying that we should sit around the whole time. there would be outposts for extermination to. As long as the outposts are defended and secured properly this plan couldn't fail.
