What started my zombie fixation: After watching a bunch of apocalpyse documentarys.

My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: I have not decided since I do not know how to operate one.
My location: New York the state I'll leave it at that for now.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? If it is near as a five hundred square miles in any direction.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? I'll be fortifying at home if anyone can tell me great ways to get water besides lakes and bodies of waters nearby becuase the ones nearest to where I live are contaimanated.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? I am not heading out.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Staying in my house with my family nearby.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I'll use signs around my area.
How am I planning to get food and water? Growing my own once I can get the needed seeds till then scavening and for water collect rain water, snow, and condensate it.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? A hachet, hoe with the wooden end sharpened to a spike, and a bb gun. I do not have a plan for making more bb gun ammo.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? If you are willing to work in a democratic group then yes.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? No it is not all of my own personal reasearch.
